“Standy Software R” has created the “Snap & Split Bill - OCR Check” app as a Freemium app. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as-is. Your privacy is very important to us, and we take it seriously. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and sharing of data in relation to this policy. The data that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. 

Data Collection and Use

While using our Service we collect and share with third party service providers certain data from our users, including but not limited to IP address (approximate location), device and advertising identifiers, data on your interaction with advertisements and with various user interface elements in the application, basic device characteristics, crash logs and stacktraces. This data is anonymous and encrypted in transit. It is required for analytics, advertising and support purposes.

Image Processing

The app uses a third party service (Firebase Machine Learning Kit) to do optical character recognition (OCR) from images provided by you. OCR can be conducted locally on your device (offline OCR) and/or on third party servers (online OCR). During online OCR your images are stored in the memory only and deleted after OCR is done.
